- Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Subject: Guideline on sealing of the Ministry of Public Security
- According to the request letter No. 1427/MOPS, dated 24 July 2019 of the Ministry of Public Security.
- According to the decision and direction of the Prime Minister- Deputy Prime Minister meeting on 16-17 September 2019.
The Prime Minister’s Office is pleased to announce the decision and direction of the Prime Minister-Deputy Prime Minister’s Meeting the details are as follows:
- The Ministry of Industry and Commerce shall issue Notification No.1412/CO.ERMD, dated 12 July 2019 to inform investors (domestic and foreign) who have registered as a business license in the Lao PDR for applying the seal to be used in business operations and preventing counterfeiting under Article 21 of the Law on Enterprise (amendment) 2013.
- The Ministry of Public Security shall complete the sealing not later than 5 working days by the Law on Enterprises. If the investor has an enterprise license from the industry and commerce sector they should be facilitated and provided an easy procedure for sealing their stamp.
