Training on Non-Tariff Measures will be organized on 18th-19th October 2017 at 18th-19th October 2017 at Lao Plaza Hotel in Vientiane by Department of Import and Export as an office of the Trade Facilitation Secretariat. The meeting will be chaired by Mr. Khemdeth SIHAVONG, Deputy Director General of DIMEX and co- chaired by Mr. Michael Kleine, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy to Laos.
The objective of this training is to build capacity on the classification, review and assessment of NTMs for the government officials who are the focal points of NTMs working group. It aims at enhancing productive and effective implementation of NTMs for participants in the future.
