Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand issued a Notification on Logs, Semi Processed Timbers, Wooden Products of Dalbergia oliveri Gamble ex Prain, Wooden Products of Dalbergia cultrate Graham ex Benth are Prohibited Products for Transit in the Kingdom of Thailand in order to manage and protect natural resources for the Kingdom of Thailand.
The notification specifies that Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand does not allow the transit of logs, semi processed timbers, wooden products of Dalbergia oliveri Gamble ex Prain, and wooden products of Dalbergia cultrate Graham ex Benth through the Kingdom of Thailand. It defines that wooden products are cabinet, table, bed, chair, door, window, window frame, and shaped wood. It also defines definition of joint wood, parquet, mosaic with tariff code which are prohibited for the transit to the Kingdom of Thailand.
The notification becomes effective after the date of publishing on the Royal Thai Government Gazatte on 1st November 2016.
